Allyson Desiderato, 42
Beloved daughter and loving sister; Mass is on Friday
With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of Allyson Desiderato on Feb. 24, 2018. Allyson was born and raised on Staten Island.
Allyson was the beloved daughter of Alice Desiderato and the late Salvatore Desiderato Sr.; loving sister of Salvatore and Frank Desiderato, and sister-in-law of Janet and Lisa Desiderato. Allyson was also the beloved girlfriend of Doug Pusey; cherished aunt of Joseph, Salvatore, Giulianna and Gabriella; devoted step-mother to Ronald Burnside Jr. and David Brandon. Allyson is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Allyson was employed by Susan Wagner High School as senior school lunch aide/cook.
Allyson truly was the rock of our family. She possessed strength that not many had, and a heart as big as a heart can be. She defined the word love and made everyone around her feel special. She will live on in all of her family and friends and her memory will never die.
Viewing is today, Feb. 28, and Thursday, March 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. on March 2 at Blessed Sacrament Church, West Brighton, S.I.
